I love it! My pug is very soft and comferting. It can get a little noisy sometimes, but at other times, it's as quiet as a mouse. When it gets noisy I usualy just take out the batterys for a while then put them back in, it works most of the time. I'm a huge fan!

Should have an external on-off switch.
If you want to turn it on to show friends you can pull out the red tab, but to turn it off, you need to replace the red tab, and must unscrew the battery area to do so.
For Pugs, it would be nice if it had a little recording, when turned on, of a soft snore. Pugs snore when they sleep.

I first seen this product at my daughters home in White Salmon, WA. It was a beautiful example of a Pug. I have owned two in the past. Daughter found a store that had the Pug for sale. She ordered one and sent it to me for Christmas. I am so disappointed. This one has no switch to shut it off, the pad is very poor quality, the color of the face is very poor quality and nothing like the one she has. It was a Christmas present or I would dump it. Very disappointed.

this is very cute and i love it. but when i got a little bit of water on its fold on its mug the glue got wet and a little hair fell off. just dont get water on the fold. and, i dont think its loud at all i like the sound.

My daughter loves her Pug. I personally am annoyed by the constant loud sound it started to make a few days after purchase,even with new batteries. I don't have the reciept, and we bought it at a flea market out of state. Very dissappointing. Anyone else experience this?

It's unfortunate that something so lifelike from a distance, can feel so "dead" when held. I was expecting it to be soft and cuddly, but instead it was hard and disappointing. The appearance of the animal "breathing" draws you in, but then when you pick it up it just ends up being boring.

This toy does nothing and I regret purchasing it. It was expensive and is basically nothing more than a decoration. They were displayed very nicely in my local hobby shop in cages that resembled a pet store. If I had been able to look at this product more closely and had seen that it's flat on one side of its body, and only sleeps, I never would have bought it. It's very realistic looking, but is basically nothing more than a decoration. My kids lost interest in these shortly after getting them as gifts.

My daughter loves how realistic the puppy is. She loves to talk to it and brush its hair. She is 4 years old. We first ordered the chocolate lab and it came damaged. She did not want it at all. We requeted the pug instead and she loves it. The only thing is that the tail already broke. Too bad it isn't more durable. I wish it came with a pet bed instead of a blanket, like it used to.

The product is so noisy that we had to switch it off - its in my daugther's bedroom and she couldn't sleep with the noise. The dog is cute but we won't buy any more because of the noise issue.
